ABOUT
Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A.
We created a Cambodian temple environment in Unreal Engine for a Zach King production within a two-week timeline. Using Marketplace assets and kitbashing techniques, I built a fully explorable 360° environment featuring a long roadway for vehicle sequences, dynamic lighting, and animated vehicle movement.
As the lead environment artist and primary Unreal Engine operator, I collaborated closely with Zach and the production team to deliver the project on schedule. Key technical challenges included optimizing Lumen for nDisplay workflows, which I solved using screen-space global illumination switching, and developing a custom Blueprint system that could automatically switch lighting setups based on the active sequence, providing greater flexibility during production.
