Mr. Beast - Squid Game In Real Life!

I was brought onto this project through SOKRISPYMEDIA, who were collaborating with Mr. Beast on recreating a real life Squid Game competition (minus the killing). I was flown to North Carolina for Post-Production which lasted 2 weeks for 50+ shots.


My role was to construct and manage the Unreal rendering pipeline, as we had a mixture of Nuke and After Effects Compositors. This also involved finalizing environments (Tug of War and Glass Bridge) from their virtual production stage to their renderable stage.


Surprisingly, we had enough time for me to experiment and begin creating a game out of the Glass Door environment, to show off the capabilities of Unreal to Mr. Beast and his team, as it is a game engine. All this can be seen in the BTS video linked below:


After the project we then finalized the game a bit more and released it to the SOKRISPYMEDIA fans, which can be downloaded here.
